The origin of the company goes back to 1996, when the president of the company, Mr. Magdy Mansour decided to invest in the agricultural sector of Egypt. Being a mechanical engineer who worked most of his life in the oil fields of the Arabian gulf desert, the idea of starting a business that can reclaim and transform the Egyptian deserts into green and productive areas, became very much appealing.
In 1996, Mr. Mansour bought his first hundred acres of desert land in Sadat City, near Cairo-Alexandria desert road, followed by another forty acres in 2006.
With the help of several agricultural experts, most of which are from Chile and South Africa, and by the year 2001, Mr. Mansour could export all his cultivated grapes -through a middle man- to Europe.
Recently, a division has been founded within the company to execute the awarded export contracts and to deal with the logistics of the exported crops.
